Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded typically in the martial arts or horror categories. Her style and method are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action films with a morbid fascination. She began reviewing in late 2009, and when she gained some status in the forums (under the old name Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. At the beginning of 2015 she was on the website when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed to Movie Nights. She hosts two podcasts on the channel, both of which focus on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was her very first film. The appearances she made during Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of shite films for children or RiffTrax, but also occasional adult comedies. The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to be part of the reviewing family. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently appear in episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
