Sara Lynn Evans was born on February 5, 1971. She grew up on a small farm near New Franklin Missouri as the oldest girl amongst seven children. Music was always a element of her life. She as early as age five she began singing each weekend in the family band. At the age of 16, she began performing at a nightclub near Columbia Missouri a gig that lasted 2 years. Sara moved into Nashville Tennessee in 1991 with the goal to become a country singer. Songwriter Harlan Howard heard Sara as she sung a demo of one of his songs Tiger By the Tail at County Q Studios and decided she was the perfect singer for his songs. She signed a contract with RCA. Evans released her first release Three Chords and the Truth was released in 1997. Critics praised the album for making a return to country traditional and ranked it in many in their top ten albums of the year lists. Born in New York she grew up in Long Island and later moved to France in pursuit of working in show business and began her career as a model. Then she branched out into other streams like working as an radio jockey in radio Luxembourg. Later in the 70s, she was a featured film actress as well as in various French feature films. In the following years after which she returned to Hollywood to try her luck. In Goodfellas she scored the highest successes, and even nominated by some of Hollywood's famous award organisations, including the Academy Award. Although she began her career in movies, she eventually picked offers in television series too and achieved excellent success in these.
