Alison Sudol
It was a challenge to embrace this femininity in something I thought was very masculine. Being able to remain strong, feminine as well as soft, yet maintain a healthy lifestyle and not be a burden to others, was not an easy one for me. It was a lot of fun to wear heels, a dress and have soft fabrics and curls every day. It was very stressful because I'm a lot younger than other actors [in Fantastic Beasts]; there are a lot of pressure. It was a bit strange. I felt a force pushing me to the top of the hill. I was either going to get crushed under it or fall apart due to how much I wanted this role as well as how big it was. It is a pleasure to spend time in museums, caf s, parks, or just going for an outing and watching the crowds is something that I like. In LA it is possible to feel alone, but in London you are able to take the Tube and are right within the midst of people as well as every other type of human who you imagine will be passing on. I love watching other the people around me. In the world of music, you are constantly around people. It's like you must be in intimate situations with men all of the time. The books were a wish fulfilled for myself. The books I've read on tour were incredibly vibrant and powerful. The worlds they create are wonderful to get lost and get lost in.
